At The Retreat, we encourage and support life balance. Therapy can be hard work, so we encourage residents to find opportunities for fun and enjoyment that help provide that balance.
Therapeutic Outing
Each Saturday, our Recreational Therapists plan a therapeutic outing that explores issues including communication, trust, social interaction, and personal accomplishment. Monthly therapeutic outings include rock climbing and equine assisted therapy. Seasonal outings have included chartering a sailboat, skiing and snowboarding, and white water rafting, among others.
