Don Ross, MD

Medical Director, The Retreat at Sheppard Pratt

Dr. Ross is a Training and Supervising Analyst on the faculty of the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute, Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He has worked extensively with patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings for over 25 years. He recently has completed the Fundamentals training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as well. He teaches courses on narcissistic personality, adult developmental crises, and self psychology. He has a long-standing interest and expertise in the interface of depression and personality disorders.
