Dr. Ross is a Training and Supervising Analyst on the faculty of the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute, Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Ross is a Training and Supervising Analyst on the faculty of the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute, Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He has worked extensively with patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings for over 30 years. In addition to psychoanalytic training, Dr. Ross has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. He teaches courses on narcissistic personality, adult developmental crises, and self psychology in addition to an innovative course in the integration of psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. He has a long-standing interest and expertise in the interface of depression and personality disorders.
