Michelle Parker brings a wealth of experience in a multitude of psychiatric settings to her position as DBT Skills Trainer. Before coming to The Retreat, she held the position of charge RN at Springfield Hospital Center for over eleven years. While there in addition to her direct nursing duties, she provided therapeutic education in both individual and group settings and trained staff in Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB). Her philosophy of nursing care includes using a holistic approach and the use of humor to heal.
